Chris Gabrielson, P. Tech (eng), President of Ka-Blam, started his career in the early 1990's in oiltown Drayton Valley, Alberta, Canada. He worked for oilfield service vendors including with service rigs and drilling rigs. In, 2001, Chris supplemented field experience by enrolling into college. He studied geological engineering and in 2006, graduated with a petroleum engineering technology diploma. Moved to Calgary, Alberta, Canada, and worked for an integrated oil and gas engineering firm. He was a completions engineer technologist and superintendent responsible for oil and gas projects in British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Quebec, Newfoundland, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia. The oil and gas projects were junior and major SAGD projects, conventional and unconventional oil and gas. Chris started his own consultant business in 2009. He's a Professional Technologist in Alberta, and Professional Licensee in Saskatchewan. Chris volunteers on the Canadian Heavy Oil Association (CHOA)Drilling and Completions Committee, the Northern AlbertaInstitute of Technology (NAIT) Program Advisory Committee, Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (SAIT) Program Advisory Committee, is an advisor to the Alberta Energy Regulator (AER), and is an Auditor to Post Secondary Institutions on behalf of Technology Accreditation Canada (TAC).
